Family Practice Nurse Practitioner

Drs. Woodall, Wilson and Manley are seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team. You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses.
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients including DOT, annual wellness and well-child exams.
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields (preferably Family Practice).
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Exhibit high levels of professionalism, integrity, accountability and compassion.
• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced patient centered environment (20-30 patients per day per NP on average).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Electronic Medical Record experience required.
• Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Current Georgia APRN license.
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
• Flexibility with schedule.
