CNC Mill Machine Setup

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machine Operator for an engineering company in the city of Costa Mesa.

1st shift
8am-5pm
$18-$25 DOE

Responsibilities Include:
• Set up CNC milling machines according to job specifications and blueprints
• Install and adjust cutting tools, workpieces, and fixtures as needed
• Program CNC mills using G-code and CAM software
• Conduct test runs to ensure proper machine operation and identify any issues or discrepancies
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and achieve production targets
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in CNC mill setup and operation
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining is preferred
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
• Strong understanding of CNC programming languages (G-code) and CAM software
• Familiarity with a variety of CNC milling machines and controls (e.g., Haas, Fanuc, Mazak)
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc.)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
