Clinical Nurse Manager

Pride Health is hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for our client in Durango, CO! This is a contracted position, working within OB and postpartum.

Shift: Mon-Fri Day shift with some nights and weekends

Contract Length: 13-weeks

Pay:

• Travel Rate: $3,584.40 weekly ($2,000 taxable/$1,066.40 housing/$518 meals)
• Local Rate: $80 hourly

Job Duties:

• Responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit.
• Role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support, and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department’s daily operations.
• Consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers.
• Evaluate productivity and collaborate with finance to forecast revenue and expenses to prepare and manage the unit/department’s budget.
• Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals Involve associates in decisions through a shared governance structure.
• Develop and maintain relationships with associates, physicians, and patients.
• Promote professional development to improve associate retention.
• Facilitate change management.
• Influence others in fostering a healthy work environment • Focus on personal growth and development through involvement in professional associations and/or advancing education.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3 years RN experience required.
• 1-year clinical leadership experience required.
• BSN required.
• MSN preferred.
• Active CO RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• Nursing Specialty Certification
• STABLE education
