Electro Mechanical Assembler

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:

2 years Electrical Assembly experience

2 years proven Mechanical Assembly experience 

REQUIRED:

^Circuit board assembly skills: both through hole and surface mount

^ Mechanical assembly skills

^ Basic computer skills

^ Candidate must be used to working with very small surface mount components by hand (in this position there is a lot of hand assembly).

^ Manual dexterity / sitting, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing / pulling.

^ Mechanically inclined and familiar with the use of hand and air tools

^ Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.

^ Able to read a part and assembly print

^ Attention to detail and quality is a must

EQUIPMENT:

^ Familiarity with basic hand tools / meters: multi meters / wire strippers.

EDUCATION

Minimum High School Diploma

Prefer: Associates in related field.

MISC:

^ Ideally the candidate has familiarity with UL Industrial standards and ATEX / IECx (European and international quality) standards

^ Many of the tasks can be repetitive

^ Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on occasion

^ Position will also include boxing and palletizing products for shipment

^ Typical day: receive work instruction / job order / pull parts from inventory / pull assembly docs and schematic from computer, assemble and test product
