Body Shop/Collision Technician

The Collision Center at Lone Star Cadillac is currently seeking an experienced, skilled, and self-motivated Collision Technician who can perform diagnoses and repairs in all areas, including specialized areas of repair. This Technician must have the knowledge in welding, measuring, and refinishing complex automotive body structures.

Job functions include but not limited to:

  • Restores vehicles according to manufacturer specifications. The Collision Technician informs the Estimator of repair requests and labor times for communication with the customers.
  • Performs welding, soldering, body alignment, and frame repairs. The Collision Technician assists in prepping and repairing vehicles.
  • Notifies management of any issues and/or required parts that may hinder the integrity and timeliness of the assigned job. The Collision Technician demonstrates behaviors like the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
  • Ensures proper components are delivered and received and compares the price and estimate.
  • Understands and adheres to federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA regulations, which can impact the Collision Center's operations.
  • Complies with all laws and regulations regarding paint, thinners, and other hazardous substances. The Collision Technician reports any deviations to management.

Employee Prerequisites:

  • Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
  • Knowledge of vehicle mechanical procedures. Pay is based on experience.
  • Certifications, Licenses, and local registrations required for the position.
  • Flexible schedule
