A&R Clinician (Full Time Night Shift)

The responsibilities for the Assessment and Referral Clinician include the following:

· Receive referral calls, obtain minimal demographic information, and refer the call to the appropriate source or schedule an assessment.

· Process all requests for information and external referrals.

· Complete pre-certifications as needed.

· Assist in arranging admission of patients and communicating the admission to the other needed departments including business office, medical staff, and nursing.

· Determine the needed Releases of Information and process them accordingly, per policy. Assist in obtaining needed records and information.

· Assess, diagnosing and treatment a variety of patient populations.
