Decades ago, our nation systematically removed Bible education from the public school day. LifeWise Academy is bringing it back. Under a little-known Supreme Court ruling, LifeWise empowers communities to provide Bible education for their public school students DURING SCHOOL HOURS. Tens of thousands of public school students attend LifeWise Bible classes each week.

About the Job

We are looking for a gospel-centered, results-driven National CityWide Director to oversee support of existing LifeWise CityWide efforts and to foster the development of additional programs. An ideal candidate is one with a leadership and operations background and with experience in fundraising, project management, and strategic planning. This full-time position is critical to boosting LifeWise Academy awareness in cities across the country and continuing to build deep relationships with those already invested in the mission to spread the gospel among public school children. This position will operate out of our headquarters in Hilliard, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Drive broad development of LifeWise CityWide efforts across the nation
  • Cultivate and manage healthy relationships with churches, school administrators, strategic partners, community groups and community leaders in cities
  • Attract, retain, and develop high-performing staff members to drive growth in new service areas
• Support existing LifeWise CityWide efforts
  • Support staff members in urban areas through regular engagement and development of relational connections across cities
  • Collaborate with the Program Health Division to evaluate the performance of the staff members by developing and monitoring measurable goals and providing feedback
• Manage the National CityWide fund
  • Prepare and maintain an annual budget
  • Lead fundraising efforts to ensure adequate funding is in place
  • Engage with donors and manage healthy donor relations
  • Oversee the use of funds
• Identify systems and processes in need of adjustment or creation in order to sustain and grow LifeWise efforts in urban areas

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith consistent with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrated abilities in fundraising, people management, and project management in an urban environment
• Experience working in an organization using Salesforce/database and Google Workspace (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
