Title of Position: Sous Chef/Executive Sous Chef

Job Description: The Sous Chef/Executive Sous Chef will work hand-in-hand with the Head Chef to oversee the kitchen operations and ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining high-quality standards for food preparation, assisting in menu creation, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and supervising kitchen staff. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations, and ensuring timely service of all dishes. In addition, they must possess exceptional leadership skills to effectively train and motivate the team towards achieving our goals. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the candidate being involved in daily food preparation and plating. Lastly, the Sous Chef/Executive Sous Chef will be expected to collaborate with the Head Chef in continuously improving and refining our culinary offerings.

Qualifications:

• The Sous Chef/Executive Sous Chef must have a minimum of 3 years experience in an upscale restaurant setting
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavor pairing, and menu creation is required for the Sous Chef/Executive Sous Chef
• The Sous Chef/Executive Sous Chef must have strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
• Excellent time-management, organizational, and communication skills is required for the Sous Chef/Executive Sous Chef
• The Sous Chef/Executive Sous Chef must have the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
