Transportation & Property Care Specialist

The Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Myers/Estero is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Transportation & Property Care Specialist. In this multifaceted role, you will play a vital part in supporting various departments, including housekeeping and guest services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of transportation services and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property.

• Responsible for cleaning corridors, elevators, guest areas, service areas and linen closets
• Responsible for filling all chemical dispensers for the housekeeping department
• Responsible for trash removal
• Vacuum corridors and public areas
• May assist in cleaning rooms and performing laundry functions
• Required to wear uniforms and maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
• Shuttle driver and driver services for the hotel
• Guest service support

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation Services:

• Manage the transportation needs of guests, ensuring a timely and courteous service
• Coordinate vehicle schedules and maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Provide assistance to guests with luggage and transportation-related inquiries

Property Care:

• Perform regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance and cleanliness issues
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the facility
• Address minor maintenance issues promptly or escalate as needed

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with housekeeping and guest services teams to ensure a seamless and positive guest experience
• Communicate effectively with different departments to coordinate efforts and address any issues promptly

• Attention to detail
• Previous experience in transportation or property maintenance is preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Familiarity with local attractions and transportation services
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks
