$50,000-$100,000

NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS - - Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30 pm

We are looking for a Automotive Technician with significant diagnostic experience.

Automotive Technician responsibilities and duties

  • Perform routine automotive maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations
  • Perform mechanical repairs, including but not limited to suspension, steering, driveline, engine diagnostics, EVAP systems, transmission and engine replacement, engine repair.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair and manufacturer training requirements.
  • Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ vehicle problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
  • Conduct necessary mechanical repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
  • Be detail-oriented and keep accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
  • Clean and maintain the work environment

Automotive Technician qualifications and skills

  • Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training required.
  • Hold a valid driver license.
  • Graduated from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
  • Must be able to maintain accurate records with detail.
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • ASE certification a plus
  • Willingness to participate in in-house training
  • Ability to operate all auto repair tools
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must

Experience: 2+ years experience required.

Qualifications

  • Acceptable motor vehicle report
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Desire to learn
  • Ability to provide exceptional service
