Job Summary

Client Command has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our team.  The Account Manager’s goal is to create raving fans out of our automotive dealership customers. In this role, you are the tip of the spear when it comes to understanding our clients’ needs and taking care of them. You form lasting relationships with clients and will be known as the person they count on at Client Command. You act as a consultant to our clients by helping them leverage our technology and service. Essentially, you are the glue that keeps everything working together. 


What you will need to achieve:  

It is your job to keep our customers happy.   This is measured and rewarded in three critical ways:  

  1. Contract renewals 
  2. Weekly Salesforce touchpoints 
  3. Growth and maintaining a Book of Business based on monthly revenue assigned to you 

To do this is no small task as you will need to work with many moving parts and across different internal teams. You will need to both lead and influence people that you have not been given authority over. Are you up for it?  

  

Your day to day: 

  • Travel to dealerships in your territory weekly. 
  • Connect with automotive dealership personnel, including dealership managers to owners/executives to develop rapport and an understanding of client needs.
  • Consult with clients both in-person and virtually to strategically align with their needs to increase client retention. 
  • Work with multiple teams within the company to facilitate the clients’ approval of marketing campaigns. 
  • Present to clients campaign results through presentations and reports. 
  • Handle client concerns and questions as needed.  
  • Align internal teams to address client needs, campaign analytics, data integration and creative direction for all media types to dealer clients. 
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on campaign performance, market and industry changes to clients. 
  • Document client lifecycle touchpoints in Salesforce.


About you:  

  • Availability to travel up to 75% of the time.  
  • Sales ability to hit and exceed monthly and quarterly retention quotas by maintaining and growing Book of Business. 
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities. 
  • Ability to foresee client needs, and procure internal or external resources to creatively problem solve. 
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. 


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years experience in quota-carrying sales and account management and/or customer service in Automotive or Software industries. 
  • 50-75% travel to automotive dealerships  


Preference given to candidates having: 

  • Google Analytics experience 
  • Automotive Sales or Marketing experience  
  • SaaS Sales or Account Management experience
