Your Responsibilities

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Performs routine maintenance (engine, hydraulic, coolant, transmission & differential services) on a variety of equipment.
• Re-orders parts from local vendors as needed. Maintains current parts inventory.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Lubricates and greases equipment when needed.
• Sets up and operates welder, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Completes repair orders for all completed tasks and includes all parts used.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• 3+ years experience
• CDL and TWIC cards not required, but preferred
