JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervisor: VP Red Bull/NA Division / Red Bull Sales Manager

Position Title: Red Bull Brand Manager

General:

Is responsible for increasing the sales of company products marketed in the local & national accounts that are assigned in his/her area of responsibility. Area Managers are responsible for fully understanding the duties and procedures of the position and constantly work toward the attainment of specific performance goals (IE: Sales, Display, Distribution, P.O.S. and Quality Assurance etc.) through assigned sales routes.

Responsibilities:

    1. Training & Development – Building Bench Strength
      1. New/Existing Account Managers
    2. In house classroom training once per month
      1. Time Management/Account Coverage / Call Frequency
      2. Presentation skills with or without IPAD
      3. Trade Math
      4. Quality Assurance
      5. Delivery of assigned Sales & Distribution Goals
      6. Maintain Financial Controls of assigned team
      7. Train & Develop Assigned Sales Reps (Workwith)
    1. On-the-job training (on route).
    2. Maintain close working relationships with presale sale reps and merchandisers.
    3. Build out weekly sales plan tied to the overall monthly operation sales and marketing business objectives.
    4. Review work plans weekly, highlight the wins and coordinate gap closing initiatives on the opportunities with presale reps and where appropriate, Sales Managers
    5. Establish and maintain good relationship with assigned retailers.
    6. Offer retailers best service possible and product information for the category.
    7. Consult with retailer regarding all Red Bull packages and brands that this company has to offer.
    8. Consult with retailer regarding sales trends (refer to chain sales comparison).
    9. Take necessary steps to increase sales of these brands and packages in retail accounts.
    10. Understand, adhere and execute all J&L Ventures, LLC. Retail Account Standards
    11. Comply with and enforce the J&L Ventures LLC dress code.

Procedures:

    • Review and report all programs are sold in to GM /Sales Manager weekly
    • Must be in complete alignment with GM and company initiatives and accountabilities
    • Fill Red Bull space, build displays and install POS, if necessary, during account calls.
    • Review the weekly plan vertically up and down during each sales meeting breakout with each assigned sales rep.
    • Perform regular retail buyer calls to present and sell in new distribution and displays
  • Red Bull Brand Manager is to Plan, Monitor, Execute and Coach Employees based on the policies and procedures outlined in the J&L Performance System. When necessary deliver specific, actionable and consistent discipline to non-performing employees to correct and align with the Key Result Areas outlined by their job descriptions and the J&L Performance evaluation timelines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EQUIPMENT

Ability to operate standard office machines such as copier, computer, fax calculator, etc. Proficient with Excel, Word programs and PowerPoint.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Proficient ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume.

Work with some confidential data such as product costs, individual wage and salary rates or schedules, which, if disclosed, might have adverse internal or minor external effect.
