Mechanic III

Title:  Mechanic II - Lokes 

Supervisor’s Title:  Rental Manager - Lokes  

General Summary:  Mechanic II is a full-time position, responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment and fleet vehicles.  

Core Areas of Responsibility: 

1. Responsible for accurately Diagnosing and repairing fleet vehicles. 

1. Responsible for the Maintenance of equipment and fleet vehicles 

1. Responsible for EPA Compliance 

1. Responsible for Maintaining accurate service records and work orders. 

1. Responsible for working safely and efficiently in a shop environment. 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

1. Must have working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions. 

1. Must be dependable, reliable and competent to handle equipment safely  

1. Ability to interface with all levels of personnel within the company. 

1. Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction. 

1. Must have a strong understanding of automotive Diagnostics.  

1. Must have a General knowledge of diesel engines. 

Education and Experience:  Minimum 3 year of experience. Must pass physical and be able to lift 80+ lbs.  

Core Areas of Responsibility: 

1. Responsible for the Maintenance and repair of equipment and fleet vehicles  

• Performs full service preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicle inventory 

• Performs full service preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment inventory 
• Assist in maintaining organization of the yards for both fleet and heavy equipment.  
• Assist with running company errands as needed and appropriate (parts run, etc.) 
• Assist with maintaining parts inventory 
• Responsible for providing all standard portable mechanical tools to perform the required work. 

1. Responsible for EPA Compliance  

• Responsible for proper storage of all hazardous materials 
• Responsible for proper disposal of all hazardous materials 
• Responsible for all labeling of hazardous materials 
• Responsible for properly recording Hazardous materials.
