Our Client:

As the Studio Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the front desk and instructor teams at your studio. This is a critical position within the brand, and we trust that you have a solid understanding of sales and operational excellence. As the lead for the sales function, the Studio Manager must execute a lead generation/ marketing strategies plan to increase sales as well as promote the health and wellness benefits that are associated with a healthy lifestyle and following the brand program.


Primary Job Responsibilities:

Sales:

-Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales drivers such as sale events, studio events, and community outreach.

-Responsible for meeting performance metrics (KPIs) and revenue goals by developing a high-energy sales culture. Is promotionally oriented and can direct sales through client outreach and contests/incentive-based motivation.

-Develops and cultivates strategic partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and community groups to drive sales, packages, and member engagement.

-Supports and manages instructors and front desk staff in setting and achieving all sales goals.


Operations:

-Compliance and adherence to all brand policies for daily studio operations

-Builds and maintains class sizes through scheduling optimization, including proper front desk coverage needed. (Suggested: two front desks and manager on duty every shift.)

-Ensure branding in all actions and that all front desk systems and studio practices/processes are followed such as proper member check in, telephone and email inquiries (general and sales related), payment handling, sales and customer-care calls, delinquent account procedures, change/cancellation request, and document scanning.

-Manage and document disciplinary actions involving all studio employees.

-Responsible for executing and properly recording terminations including any required resignation documents.

-Maintain top- notch cleanliness, appearance, and organization of the studio.

-Effectively manage ordering, inventory, timekeeping, and facility maintenance in a cost-conscious way.

-Maintain an active presence in the studio. The majority of your working hours are required to occur in the studio as other tasks, phone calls, and meetings may occur outside of the studio as well.

-Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing development of all instructors and front desk staff.


Culture:

-Manage, monitor, coach, develop, and consistently evaluate the performance of all staff.

-Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service and provide effective and timely decision-making regarding customer service issues.

-Plan thoughtful and creative events to build community and culture within the studio through a strong presence in the studio and on social media.

-Maintaining a consistent social media presence and following the social media and marketing guide outlined each month. Ensuring your studio is following our social media guidelines.


Leadership:

-Model all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example)

-Properly train, empower, monitor and evaluate specific responsibilities of all staff.

-Prepare and mentor the team for ongoing success and future growth.

-Evaluate performance regularly to identify strengths and direct opportunities of the team.

-Observe each instructor's classes, at minimum twice per month, and give immediate constructive feedback. Properly track feedback and continually follow up with each instructor.

-Observation forms are completed and shared with the instructor within 24- hours of observing their class.

-Ensuring all instructors are taking classes regularly (minimum twice per week)

-Ensuring all instructors are meeting the minimum of teaching 5 classes per week.

-At minimum, facilitate monthly meetings to discuss areas of strength and opportunity for the studio with the entire staff.

-Work with management to ensure all resources are being utilized effectively so that follow up is occurring at all levels. Effectively communicate consistently regarding goals and progress throughout the month.


Qualifications:

-3+ years of prior management experience within the health and fitness industry

-Must be a certified personal trainer - group fitness experience preferred.

-Must have an affinity and passion for fitness, wellness, and working with others

-Experience in training and motivating team members

-Confidence in generating sales through management of digital leads, conversions, and daily inquires about the studio.

-Excellent verbal and written communication

-Positivity, enthusiasm, self- motivation, and commitment to established goals.

-Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve, and multi-task in a fast- paced environment

-Understand accounting principles and cash processing procedures

-Attention to detail as well as solid organization/time management skills

-Ability to work a varied schedule including occasional long hours, early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and some holidays

-Proficient in Microsoft Suite ( Word and Excel)

-HS Diploma


Compensation:

$60-$65K/year + benefits
