$25 - $40 plus commission
Responsibilities:- Maintain a high standard of customer service excellence when solving billing, policy change, claims, or coverage related issues
- Present existing and prospective customers with individualized policy options, quote calculations, and educational materials to meet their needs
- Facilitate sales by keeping accurate records of personal information of prospects and customers within insurance company databases
- Take an innovative approach to networking and sales strategies to identify and secure new clients
- Check insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits to determine whether modifications are necessary
- Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
- State-issued, valid insurance license(s) required: Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License
- Strong aptitude for computer programs including Microsoft Office required; agency management system experience preferred
- Goal-oriented sales approach and effective collaboration skills are needed
- A high school diploma is required - a bachelor's degree or comparable insurance industry experience is a must
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are a must
