Home Warranty Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a reliable Warranty Technician to manage the completion of warranty work for our new homeowners. As a Warranty Technician, you will oversee the execution of approved warranty work, manage homeowner relationships, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors. Sound like you? Apply today!
Compensation:$45,000 - $60,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Project a caring attitude towards customers and colleagues through all communication channels.
- Supervise subcontractors performing warranty work.
- Efficiently coordinate the scheduling of all customer service work after diagnosing necessary actions.
- Tactfully handle and negotiate challenging service requests.
- Regularly assess and contribute to revisions of the current warranty program to enhance company image.
- Assist in the coordination of warranty claims and repairs with suppliers and contractors.
You will be measured on:
- Timeliness of warranty reports required by management.
- Average work orders per home under warranty.
- Average length of time open work orders have been open.
- Warranty budget adherence.
- Timeliness of any assigned employee growth reviews.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Combination of at least 2 years of customer service experience and 1 year maintenance/construction experience.
- Background in the construction industry.
- Proficiency using technology in the field.
- Ability to perform and train others on service issues, including common problem diagnosis and basic construction repair techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional.
- Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, and email to ensure the customer’s needs are at the forefront of every interaction.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.
