Job Details

The Quality Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing the quality control for thermoformed and extruded products. This role directs and coordinates day-to-day shift activities of quality personnel by providing leadership and supervision in assigned departments.

EDUCATION PREFERRED:

• Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Business Administration, or related field) strongly preferred; extensive work experience as a Quality Supervisor within a manufacturing environment, required in lieu of degree.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing leadership role (Lead Operator, Group Leader, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years manufacturing supervisor experience, strongly preferred
• Demonstrated decision making skills, being both timely and effective
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including motivation of team members and conflict resolution
• Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S or other discipline)
• Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications and QAD experience
