We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join one of our fastest growing teams. Our Managed Accounting Services (MAS) practice provides outsourced accounting services and excellent service to clients in a variety of industries and the work can be performed remotely. As a Finance Transformation Consultant Accountant Staff, you will assist with projects for a variety of clients, such as:

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Complete full-cycle accounting activities, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, etc.
• Prepare month-end financial reports including the Comparative Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, and other related specialized reports based on management needs
• Code vendor invoices, reconcile bank account and credit card transactions for appropriate accounting recording
• Prepare monthly financial statements, financial reporting, payroll entries, monthly accruals and analyses
• Perform account reconciliations for all significant balance sheet accounts
• Special projects may include supporting accounting platform conversions, accounting records cleanup, or tax to GAAP basis conversions

Qualifications:

• Pursuing Bachelor or Masters degree in Accounting
• CPA eligible strongly preferred
• Experience with project management and ability to multi-task
• Adaptable to various levels of client complexities of people, processes, and systems
• Ability to provide clarity and next steps in stressful moments
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel skills
• Experience with the following applications preferred: QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Divvy, Expensify, and payroll platforms such as ADP, Paychex, or Gusto
