The Opportunity
We are seeking a Client Service Manager who is both entrepreneurial and has hands-on project management experience. You will work in collaboration with the leadership team to assist with growth, recruitment efforts, and leading projects in the land development markets.
This individual will have an entrepreneurial spirit- a vision for growth for themselves, as well as the practice. This person will be responsible for assisting with the business development effort, managing relationships with key clients, and leading projects.
As the Client Service Manager, you'll utilize your network and relationships you've established in the land development market. In the first year, you will be rewarded for developing the project pipeline. You will assist in providing hands-on, collaborative leadership while motivating the production team around you. With success, you'll enjoy the rewards of a performance-based work environment.
Work Location: Hybrid with flexible work options-- ability to attend client meetings when needed
The qualified candidate will:
- Grow land development sector sales within Texas- working collaboratively with the survey practice leader
- Provide leadership to Dallas Office operations and growth initiatives
- Oversee client relationships, client development, and client retention
- Lead client satisfaction
- Develop and execute the one-year sales and marketing plan for land development services
- Pursue RFP opportunities and write proposals for project opportunities
- Implement and revise the survey sales and marketing processes as needed
- Collaborate and create partnerships with other practices on pursuit opportunities
- Lead projects for strategic clients
- Establish budgets to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables in collaboration with the production team
Qualifications
- Registered Professional Engineer with 10+ years of diversified experience in growing and leading land development projects
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in State and Federal regulations and processes
- Client contacts and relationships with land surveying clients or client partners
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in managing and mentoring staff
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial and/or residential projects profitably
- Embraces a collaborative, positive work environment where staff and work are shared to ensure project success
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment
- Ability to occasionally move equipment/objects weighing up to 10 pounds
