DSS is hiring for a Warehouse Worker in the Waxahachie area!
First shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday- Friday
Pay: $15/hr
The warehouse worker will specialize in working with thin metal sheets to fabricate, install, and maintain various products and systems. Their tasks involve using blueprints and technical drawings to measure, mark dimensions, and lay out material.

The warehouse worker will specialize in working with thin metal sheets to fabricate, install, and maintain various products and systems. Their tasks involve using blueprints and technical drawings to measure, mark dimensions, and lay out material.
- Utilize and interpret blueprints: Determine how and where to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products.
- Measure, mark dimensions, and layout material: Use tools such as scribes, rulers, calculators, and squares to prepare for installation.
- Fasten joints and seams: Secure sheet metal using solder, welds, caulk, bolts, and metal driver clips, ensuring careful work and durable bonds.
- Trim, buff, smooth, file, and grind metal surfaces and joints: This ensures safety and a seamless appearance.
- Select appropriate sheet metal: Choose the right type and gauge for specific projects according to specifications.
- Prioritize safety: Maintain safety during all activities, including tool usage and metal installation and fabrication.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and tools.
- Good work history
