Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Calibration Technician II position in Worcester MA. Apply now!
The anticipated wage for this position is between $34 and $36. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Monday to Friday, 7AM-3:30PM (start time flexible)
Primary duties:
• Accurately and contemporaneously records data into Maximo the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Follows instructions in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform calibration as assigned on daily/weekly basis.
• Performs calibration on analytical scales, balances.
• Performs calibration on pressure related equipment (gauges, switches, transmitters, transducers, etc.)
• Performs calibration on temperature related equipment (cold rooms, environmental areas, RTDs, thermocouples, probes, freezers, etc.)
• Ability to lift 50 lb. (20 kg) of weight to perform calibration on scales, SUMs, tanks. Repeat the process to meet the full range.
• Provides support to Metrology team by offering an additional set of hands and relay status of indicators, switches, valves, or other items.
• Assists the "Rapid Response" team to assess, triage, and repair unplanned Metrology activities.
• Properly gowns when entering cleanroom environments.
• Wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as required

Requirements:
- Must have AS or BS degree
- Must have basic mechanical aptitude
- Metrology or Calibration Experience
- Must demonstrate the ability to perform basic math functions
- Experience with : Process equipment calibration, Temperature (Thermodynamics), Mass/Scales Balances, Pressure, Conductivity/pH
- Must regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 35 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds assisted.
