Staff Accountant

LHH is working with a large Columbus based company on a search for a Staff Accountant. They have a flexible schedule, tremendous leadership and very good growth potential!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains general ledger accounts including the preparation and posting of journal entries and account reconciliation.
• Prepares and distributes financial information to outside auditors, government agencies, and other organizations.
• Assist in bi-weekly payroll functions
• Reviews journal entries, account reconciliations, and additional work performed by the accounting team.
• Prepares accrual and reconciling entries for month end after review of P&L.
• Participates in year end and the annual audit process.
• Prepares reports and completes special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors in Accounting (or Finance)
• 2+ years of experience, public accounting experience preferred
• CPA preferred (or eligible and planning to pursue)
• Prior staff accountant experience
• Good communication skills

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
