Position Summary
Seeking a Data and Security Designer to join our team allowing the selected individual with the opportunity to participate in the design of state-of-the-art industrial and manufacturing facilities for the world's leading companies. You will be responsible for working with other contributing mid-senior level engineers and design teams to create exciting and complex designs that incorporate some of the latest design techniques, while ensuring that all specifications are met, and to ensure timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes sketches, notes and other input materials to determine and plan the best approach to prepare drawings.
• Applies design fundamentals to total systems or sub-systems.
• Works under supervision with work effort occasionally checked during progress and reviewed upon completion.
• Solves design problems but is expected to need assistance.
• May perform routine design calculations for the review of the project engineer/architect and prepares basic layouts.
• May have external customer contact.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree-tracked in engineering or architectural fields is preferred but not required

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years related Data and Security designer experience with an engineering firm.
• Autodesk Revit design software experience required.
• Proficiency in the use of a computer for drafting and design applications required.
• BICSI experience.
• Some travel may be required.
• Valid driver's license required.
