The Line Cook is an essential role.  This position directly contributes to our guest satisfaction as it is perceived in the dining experience.  This job description outlines the main functions and responsibilities of the Line Cook.
 
 
Job Duties & Responsibilities: (Not limited to)
 
  • Arrive at work on scheduled time.  Keep in mind that you may need to come in early or stay late depending on business needs. 
  • Do not clock in early or stay after scheduled departure time unless given approval from management.
  • Must be in full uniform everyday which includes:  Pants, Chef Coat, Hat, and Non-Slip Shoes
  • Primary responsibility is filling and cooking the lunch line throughout shift
  • Help to cook, prep, and plate banquet food and keeping your work area clean during your shift.
  • Prep Salad Station and Lunch line throughout shift
  • Responsibilities include making 5-10 house salads everyday: lettuce mix, field greens, sliced red onion, three cherry tomatoes, and alfalfa sprouts
  • Clean both the flat top grill and char grill before the end of the shift; also empty traps after you clean flat top grill
  • Clean slicer and used equipment before the end of the shift
  • Clean out all soap dispensers and sanitizer sinks and refill every shift
  • Wrap, label, and date all food items by the end of the shift
  • Follow your given schedule and communicate your availability to Chef in advance.
