OVERVIEW

Oversee, develop, and integrate financial control systems and reporting functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

  • Approves upload of weekly payroll direct deposit to the bank.

  • Collect, review and submit project required certified payroll reports.

  • Update daily cash sheet with transactions from daily office and bank accounts.

  • Set up new vendors in Sage and Procore as needed.

  • Collect W-9 and any other required documents.

  • Invoice entry, process payments for subs/suppliers.

  • Collect partial and final lien waivers.

  • Reconcile AP Aging to GL monthly.

  • Review and reconcile monthly Amex invoice, entry and payment.

  • Collect and Review Sub Certified Payroll for various projects for accuracy.

  • Other tasks as needed related to Accounts Payable.

  • Review and prepare monthly billings.

  • Follow up with outstanding payments.

  • Reconcile AR Aging with GL account and Daily Cash Sheet.

  • Prepare and send lien waivers when needed.

  • Record payments in Sage and on Daily Cash Sheet accordingly.

  • Prepare all required documents to attach to monthly billings as needed.

  • Other tasks as needed related to Accounts Receivable.

  • Set up project in both Procore and Sage.

  • Create Contract in Sage as needed.

  • Request, review and file all subcontractor documents, including insurance certificates, bonding information and any other required contract information.

  • Review and enter all project estimates in Procore and Sage.

  • Budget modifications in Procore and Sage as needed

  • Create subcontract and PO agreements needed for projects.

  • Track, collect, review and file subcontract and PO agreements.

  • Other tasks as needed related to Job Cost.

  • Record transactions in Cash Management as needed, such as bank transfers between company accounts.  Also, recording transactions on Daily Cash Sheet.

  •   Reconcile bank accounts monthly.

  • Record any payments not being recorded through AP with a check or electronic payment, excluding Payroll tax payments(Michelle Records).            

  • Occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of your job.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter.
  • Energetic.
  • Prior management experience required.
  • Exceptional computer skills.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Sage, Procore, and Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • CPA preferred.

SALARY RANGE

  • $70,000.00 to $110,000.00 - depending on experience.
