As we continue to strengthen our infrastructure, we currently have an immediate opening in our Bonita Springs, FL office for an Data Analyst/Accounting Analyst to fill a role critical to our operation. This position is classified as non-exempt under the FLSA and will earn over-time for any hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a given work week.

JOB DESCRIPTON:

This role will perform a variety of reconciliations and analytical duties according to established policies and procedures, be responsible to ensure clients receivable accounts are properly maintained.

Essential Functions & Job Responsibilities:

  • Heavy reconciliation of client data files
  • Heavy analytical and problem-solving work of assigned client accounts.
  • Heavy use of excel to reconcile line items and recognize differences within data
  • Monitor payment status and reconcile payments on a consistent basis
  • Perform as a strong leading A/R member
  • Actively participate in bi-weekly cost and fee management meeting
  • Post ACH/Wires into accounting system Sage100 ERP
  • Post live checks and perform bank deposit
  • Backup for uploading remit file into accounting system Sage100 ERP
  • Backup for performing cost and fee uploads to accounting system Sage100 ERP

Job Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills with problem solving
  • Strong Excel skills are required; most frequently used items being - formula building, importing and sorting of data, pivot tables; must produce satisfactory performance on applicable criteria testing
  • Ability to work with numerous lines of data within excel (200 to 2000+ line items)
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Ability to recognize differences within the data and research discrepancies
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product
  • Good mathematical background
  • Strong computer skills and word processing
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
  • Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic
  • Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
  • Ability to meet and establish deadlines
  • Sage100 ERP experience is desired

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Finance/Accounting or Business degree or
  • 1-4 years hands-on financial data reconciliation analysis
