Full Time Architecture Designer Based in Columbus
BDT is a multidisciplinary design practice. Offering full-service architectural, planning and interior design, we specialize in Healthcare, Higher Education, Commercial and Community markets. We are looking to bring an enthusiastic Architecture Designer who helps build our brand. This person would ideally have 2-5 years of work or equivalent experience as an Architecture Designer
We are building a brand that embraces open communication and collaboration as Citizen Architects who contribute to the betterment of the local community. In order to do both well, BDT has built a team of professionally skilled, motivated employees who want to realize their full potential daily.
A Day in the Life :
- Prepare drawing sets through a multitude of phases, starting from SD and through CD using Revit.
- Produce conceptual rendering for clients and project presentations.
- Ability to research compliance i.e. code requirements, ADA requirements, etc.
- Possess strong communication skills, and be attentive to detail.
- Willingness to learn and desire to grow and advance as part of the team.
- Ability to identify and research products and materials for design packages.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit
- Adobe design suite / creative cloud
- Self-starter and an interest in learning
- Strong verbal and visual presentation skills
- Understanding of construction documents
Nice to Have:
- Lumion
- Bluebeam
- AutoCad
- Registered with NCARB.
Salary $45,000 to $60,000 per year
