Expected Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient and elegant new software and features
  • Maintaining and improving the functionality of existing software and products.
  • Produce technical specifications and plans
  • Analyze and resolve performance and stability issues
  • Implement test suites and unit tests to support maintenance and QA requirements
  • Document each aspect of a system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
  • Conduct code reviews of colleagues' work
  • Communicatewith managers, technical support, networking, and development team
  • Collaborate and contribute with the development team members and a closely tied team environment


Skills and Proficiencies

  • 2+ years experience in software development
  • Proficiency with general software development principles
  • Proficiency with version control systems / Git workflow
  • Knowledge and application of software design patterns
  • Strong skills in full-stack development, including experience completing both front-end and back-end development tasks.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to quickly changing priorities and technologies
  • Ability to work independently, or as a part of a team
  • Ability to meet business objectives by engineering solutions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work closely with team members
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational skills  

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization or degree and experience equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in software development
  • Experience with PHP, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL
  • Familiarity with development using any of the following: Vagrant, Docker, K8Ns
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience working on large-scale software projects a plus
  • Experience with Symfony or other PHP framework
  • Experience with Vue or other JS framework
  • Experience with SQL
