Northside Christian Academy (NCA), a K-12, ACSI accredited private Christian school located in beautiful Charlotte, NC.  Founded in 1962, NCA boasts a beautiful 100 -acres that provides plenty of room for expansion and growth. We are seeking a full-time Kindergarten Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond.  Grade level is dependent upon experience and enrollment. School Information available at ncaknights.com.

Qualifications


  1. Have Received Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior
  2. Believe that the Bible is God’s Word and standard for faith and daily living.
  3. Agree with Northside Charlotte’s Mission and NCA’s Statement of Faith.
  4. Minimum BA/BS Degree from an accredited college or university in education.
  5. Hold or agree to pursue an ACSI certification

Job Overview


Teacher must be able to teach the following:  Six through eight grade math, Pre Alg, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Algebra honors.

 

Northside Christian Academy is expanding to add dynamic elementary school teachers for the 2024-2025 school year.


Specific grade level assignments will depend on the strengths of the candidate and current staff.


The candidate must be able to effectively manage a classroom, teach with excellence and rigor, build relationships with students, parents and be able to put together an engaging, biblically integrated learning classroom.


The candidate must also demonstrate excellence in planning, teamwork, communication, and have a strong work ethic.


Candidates must feel comfortable with utilizing technology in the classroom to enhance their instruction.


Maintain adequate records of attendance and grades to meet the demands of the State, the request of administration, and one’s own need for knowledge of student progress.


Attend faculty meetings, chapel services, department meetings and other school functions related to one’s own area of responsibilities.
