Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading Agile initiatives, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews, etc.) for multiple Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and best practices.
  • Mentor and coach Scrum Masters and Agile teams, providing guidance on Scrum methodologies, fostering a culture of collaboration, and promoting self-organization.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain product backlogs, prioritize features, and refine user stories to maximize business value and customer satisfaction.
  • Remove impediments and dependencies to the team's progress, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization, encouraging experimentation and embracing change.
  • Ensure that Agile teams adhere to Scrum principles and actively participate in Scrum events to drive project success.
  • Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders, fostering transparency, and trust.
  • Function as a liaison between the development team and other organizational units, facilitating communication, and alignment of goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent leadership and facilitation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficient in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent communication and people skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DevOps practices.
  • Background in software development or project management.
