Opportunity:
As an Inventory and Shipping/Receiving Specialist at ASI, you'll be at the heart of our operations, playing a vital role in managing the flow of essential components and equipment within our dynamic workflow.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble part kits for production jobs
Complete receiving duties for incoming shipments
Prepare goods for shipping
May need to run errands for local pickup and drop off supplies occasionally
Work on packaging and crating standards
Track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely arrival
File claims for missing packages/damage
Reconcile reimbursements
Conduct cycle counting and inventory management regularly to maintain accurate inventory
Complete paperwork for all domestic and international shipments
Assist in any and all other purchasing tasks as assigned
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and update inventory as needed
- Will be responsible for transacting inventory movements in ERP system to maintain an accurate account and traceability of parts
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, JOB SKILLS
High School Diploma Required
(Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain is preferred)
2 years of Shipping and Receiving or Inventory Experience (preferred)
International shipping experience (preferred)
Strong time management and organizational skills
Exceptional computer skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Export Documentation
Self-motivated
This position will be interacting with heavy equipment, so it is mandatory that all employees take a breathalizer test each time they're onsite at the mine.
