The Landings Golf and Athletic Club is a private luxury residential club on Skidaway Island dedicated to providing members with an active lifestyle through resort-class amenities. Located 12 miles from historic Savannah, our Club offers members access to six championship golf courses, 31 tennis courts, 15 pickleball courts, eight bocce courts, ten unique dining venues, five clubhouses, five swimming pools and a 52,000 sq. ft., wellness center.

Wellness & Spa Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Greet members and guests in a friendly manner as they enter the Wellness Center.
  • Opens and closes the facility when necessary.
  • Answers and transfer calls in a timely, efficient and courteous manner.
  • Informs members of policies and program information.
  • Collects payments and accurately charges member accounts.
  • Issues facility equipment to members as requested or needed (e.g. reading trays)
  • Maintains a clean work environment.
  • Performs administrative duties as assigned.
  • Schedules spa, personal training, and swim services for members and guests.
  • Receives merchandise orders and prints labels.
  • Maintains inventory for smoothie bar, club merchandise and facility supply.
  • Cleans and organizes merchandise display daily.
  • Participates in weekly staff meeting.
  • Promotes Wellness activities and collects scheduling information from members.
  • Possesses knowledge of displayed merchandise along with all promotions and sales.
  • Generates daily shift sales report when/if required to close.
  • Responds to all emails in a timely manner
  • Washes and folds towels as needed.
  • Reports any equipment issues to a supervisor.
  • Enforces all gym rules and policies.
  • Complies with club policies and procedures.
  • Works variety of shifts, as needed to include nights, weekends and or holidays.
  • Informs management of any issue regarding staff or members
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized workstation.
  • Assists in locker/laundry room as needed.
  • Refrains from discussing company or personal business with guests or members.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Wellness & Spa Receptionist Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current CPR, AED, First Aid certification or be able to complete within 30 days of employment.
  • Previous administrative, reception or clerical experience, a plus.
  • Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer skills.
  • Must be able to initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be multitask oriented.
  • Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
  • Schedules appointments accurately.
  • Must be knowledgeable of computer system and all point-of-sale procedures.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure.
  • Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
  • Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.
  • Must have the willingness to provide exceptional service to members.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide variety of people.

Wellness & Spa Receptionist Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Bending and stooping 80% of workday.
  • Sits and stands for 95% of workday.
