Must be able to work on a 3-day 12-hour shift (3 days on, 3 off, 3 nights on, 3 off, repeat) and overtime as required/scheduled. Because shifts rotate, you will enjoy days off during the week to balance your work life and personal time.

The Packaging Team Member is an entry level position with lots of immediate growth potential. The focus of this position is the packaging of completed film for the food industry, in a clean and safe work environment.

Daily Tasks:

  • Transport film rolls on to pallets, using an overhead hoist. Use strapping band to secure rolls to the pallet, using the appropriate pattern. Tighten strapping using banding tool. These tasks require employees to perform continuous periods of bending over, crouching/kneeling down, and working at floor level. Must be able to move oneself up and down from standing to squatting repetitively.
  • Lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs. repetitively without assistance.
  • Perform basic math calculations, read scales to weigh rolls, and use standard tape measure to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack (training provided).
  • Perform all tasks as trained according to safety procedures, follow PPE requirements/dress code, and report all incidents/injuries immediately.
  • Use computers to read and respond to company emails and perform daily data entry tasks.
  • Effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors and demonstrate a team approach to meet production goals. Contribute to a positive work environment by supporting Taghleef’s Core Values of integrity, respect, and trust.
  • Perform assigned Good Manufacturing Practice Regulations (GMP) activities in the work area, such as sweeping, removing trash, etc.
  • Follow good personal hygiene practices, such as regular bathing, wearing clean clothes to work, and maintaining clean hands with trimmed fingernails.
  • Report any known or discovered contamination or other food safety risk to product to direct supervisor immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Requirements:


  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality (no absences during 90-day probationary period)
  • Successfully complete required New Hire Training Academy
  • Previous work experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, on a fast-paced production line
  • Ability to work on a 3-day rotating 12-hour shift (3 days on, 3 off, 3 nights on, 3 off, repeat) and overtime as required/scheduled
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to succeed and develop within the company
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
