Principle Responsibilities

● With the help of manager, train and supervise staff in execution of wheels programs

● Assist in the set up and takedown of Wheels areas

● Keep accurate inventory, and make timely supply requests as needed

● Oversee the regular maintenance of all trails and tracks used for AP and Low Gear programs

● Ensure that all documentation is filled out accurately and timely

● Assist in periodic written performance evaluations for direct reports

● Partake in disciplinary actions/procedures

● Assist in other wheel programs as needed

● Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership

● Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook

Qualifications & Training

● Required: 18 years of age or older

● Preferred: Experience teaching MTB

● Preferred: Experience maintaining MTB trails

● Required: 1+ yr. leading teams, prefer 1+ yr. Summit employment

● Required: willingness to learn about skateboarding and BMX programs

● Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination

● Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America

Performance Results

· Completes contract period with 2-4 positive experiences with customers

· Receive one or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or participants

· Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a participant

· Contribute at least one improvement to the MTB program

Physical Requirements

● Up to 9 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 70 lbs.
