Who We Are:

Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is located in Breckenridge, Colorado - the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. What You'll Do:

The Buyer will be responsible for Food and Beverage, Liquor and other needs in the Purchasing Commissary. They will assist in projects from other departments and secure bids when necessary. The position will direct the monthly physical counts with the assistance of the Receiving Clerk. The Buyer will work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure that invoices are kept up to date and meet accounting deadlines for vendor payments. The Buyer will assist the outlets in their orders to the purchasing commissary and all new item requests will go through the Buyer. Housing may be available on a first-come, first-served basis based on position. Full-time year-round positions are eligible for benefits as listed below.

Responsibilities

  • Act as point of contact for Outlets and Vendors
  • Creative Problem Solving
  • Oversee the Inventory of Purchasing and assist in projects.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with vendors and departments through various forms of communication.
  • Monitors Inventory and In-house distribution
  • Keeps up to date with Market Trends and Supply Chain to prepare for shortages.
  • Assist Purchasing Manager with projects when needed.
  • Will manage department in Purchasing Manager's Absence
  • Other Job Duties as Assigned as it pertains to Business Needs
  • Work with Purchasing Manager to Forecast for Upcoming Season
  • Aids in hiring employees.

What You'll Bring:

  • Knowledge of FIFO/HAACP - preferred
  • 2+ Years Purchasing Experience - preferred.
  • 1+ years supervisory experience - preferred
  • Proficient at written and verbal communication in English - required.
  • Experience with Inventory Control Software - preferred.
  • ServSafe Certification - ability to obtain; will train.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite - preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain company insurance approval - required.
  • Culinary Background -preferred
