- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests by greeting them warmly, taking orders, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring special requests and dietary preferences are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, ensuring that the presentation and quality meet venue standards.
- Keep assigned tables clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with necessary condiments and supplies.
- Have a good understanding of the menu offerings, including food and beverage options, and be able to make recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
- Proficiently use the point-of-sale (POS) system to enter orders, process payments, and generate guest checks.
- Suggest and upsell additional items or promotions to increase guest satisfaction and venue revenue.
- Collaborate with other servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service, to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
- Accurately handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions, including making change and processing tips.
- Complete closing duties, including reconciling payments, cleaning and restocking the server station, and ensuring readiness for the next shift.
- Previous server experience preferred.
- Familiarity with restaurant standards and hospitality
- Good communication skills, and experience working with staff on all levels.
- Ability to stand for hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at-a-time without assistance.
