Position Overview:

Americare Senior Living is excited to announce an opportunity for a Nursing Care Director (DON) at the Victorian Place of Washington and The Arbors, located in Washington, MO. We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for leadership to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in guiding nursing services, upholding high-quality care standards, and providing guidance to our medical team. Position Perks:
  • Salary: $58,240 to $62,400 with annual raise potential, commensurate with experience.
  • Bonus Plan: Up to $6,600 annual bonus.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health/vision/dental insurance, 401K, free daily meals, tuition reimbursement, and more.
  • On-call expectations/general hours: 8:00AM to 4:30PM. On call during the week and every third weekend.
Some Essential Functions:
  • Oversee nursing service administration and clinical supervision
  • Implement and review nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Interpret and enforce nursing policies and procedures to staff
  • Provide clinical guidance and supervision to nurses and support staff
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and staffing requirements
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Americare standards, including inspections
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with LPN as the minimum certification (required)
  • Current state nursing license with ongoing education certification (required)
  • Minimum 3 years nursing experience (preferred)
  • Authentic passion for people, community and senior care (required)
