Apartment Maintenance Technician

The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall upkeep and appearance of the property, including but not limited to, common areas, grounds, and apartments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments, common areas, and grounds as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager
• Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management
• Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain an inventory of tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months - 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance or related field
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 8 am - 5 pm 
• Sometimes on call during weekends 

Pay:

• $18 - $20/hr.
