Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Exterior Carpenter to join our team! In this role, you will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, roofing, siding, gutters-using the carpenters hand and power tools. The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work. If you are an experienced Carpenter with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
• Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters
• Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferred
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
• Ability to read and take action on blueprints
• Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
• MUST BE LOCAL TO COLUMBUS, OH
