Guest Services Specialist

SummitCove Lodging is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Service Excellence Team! We are looking to fill multiple shifts, day, mid, evening and overnight! Hourly starting pay is $23 an hour, with awesome benefits!

You should enjoy the satisfaction of helping make a guest’s day by being a friendly face or voice that is there to help them. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service and be comfortable working independently both with guests and completing basic office tasks.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Ensure accurate check-in and checkout processes according to SummitCove standards.

- Answer phone calls politely and efficiently to meet and exceed all guest needs and requests.

- Solve basic reservation and billing discrepancies to SummitCove standards and guest satisfaction.

- Monitor guest communication and follow up to ensure all requests are responded to in a timely manner. This includes phone calls, emails and text messages.

- Completing work orders in a timely manner, occasionally running errands like lock outs and quick deliveries

- Assist with training new team members

- Complete daily task list every day

- Running errands outside the office when necessary

- Maintain excellent guest and employee relations skills.

- Possess strong organizational and verbal communication skills.

- Accurately and timely route all communication during an emergency situation.

- Ability to sustain composure at all times and remain calm during difficult situations.

- Complies with all SummitCove policies, procedures and standards of operation.

- Complies with all Resort policies, procedures and standards of operation.

Any other duties assigned by a supervisor or manager

The aforementioned duties are not all encompassing of this position and are meant to provide a high level overview of day to day responsibilities.

Starting hourly rate for this position is $23.00 an hour. Starting pay may be above or below based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.

SummitCove takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience relevant to the position for which they are applying, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
