Host

As a Host at Leblon Brazilian Steakhouse, you play a critical role in creating a positive first impression for our guests. Your primary responsibility is to warmly greet and welcome guests, manage reservations, and seat guests in a timely and organized manner. You are the initial point of contact for guests, ensuring their experience begins on a friendly and inviting note.

Key Responsibilities:


Guest Welcome:

1. Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
2. Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists efficiently.
3. Communicate estimated wait times and seating availability clearly to guests.

Seating and Guest Relations:

1. Seat guests in accordance with seating guidelines and table assignments.
2. Provide menus and communicate daily specials or promotions.
3. Monitor the dining room to ensure guest comfort and needs are met.
4. Assist in coordinating special requests or accommodations for guests.
5. Respond professionally to guest inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to management as needed.

Reservation Management:

1. Receive and record reservations via phone, email, or in-person inquiries.
2. Maintain an organized and up-to-date reservation book or system.
3. Confirm reservations and follow up with guests regarding upcoming reservations.
4. Assist in coordinating private dining events and large party reservations.

Communication:

1. Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to manage guest flow and table turnover.
2. Communicate guest information and special requests to the appropriate team members.
3. Assist in answering phone calls and providing accurate information to callers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in the restaurant or hospitality industry, is advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to manage guest reservations and seating efficiently.
• Organizational skills, with the capacity to multitask and remain composed during busy periods.
