Background:

Craft Culinary Concepts is the exclusive food and beverage provider for the Will Rogers Memorial Center (WRMC) in Fort Worth, Texas. The talented team at Craft Culinary Concepts brings their top tier service and management to leading stadiums, sports venues, cultural attractions and music venues across the nation. These custom-tailored experiences range from corporate events, weddings, festivals, professional sports games all the way up to the Super Bowl!

Job Summary:

This position is responsible and accountable for preparing and executing all catering events. Additionally, the Catering Director promotes and implements sales strategies for new and existing business.

Primary Job Duties:

  1. Responsible for all catered events from booking to execution, including delegation of responsibilities to all personnel required.
  2. Work closely with client sales team and on-site groups to meet sales and operational expectations.
  3. Support the Director of Operations and Chef in planning menus and aid in the creation of specialty menus and theme functions.
  4. Distribute catering information to all department heads and staff members and distribute detailed event sheets at staff meetings.
  5. Generate new business and maintain contact with present accounts.
  6. Handle customer complaints and rectify problem situations.
  7. Organize and arrange for decorations and rentals.
  8. Check setups.
  9. Prepare contracts to include all specified details concerning catered events.
  10. Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

. Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. College degree in restaurant/hotel field or equivalent experience.
  2. 5-7 years' experience in catering/banquet field with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  3. Must possess a general knowledge of food and beverage procedures, controls, and administration as well as a complete awareness and ability to perform all catering positions.
  4. Must be able to sustain work effort for extended periods and have the ability to lift materials, supplies and equipment used in the concession operation. Hours may often be extended and irregular including nights, weekends and holidays.
