TEAM Enterprises is looking for a Regional Manager in the Northeast (based out of NY, NJ, PA, or MA). The RM will provide direction to ensure on and off premise sales growth for all the client’s brands through consistent and superior promotion execution. WHAT YOU WILL DO

People Development Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire and train personnel within territory to execute client programs
  • Conduct pre-screen interviews of all candidates and work with client to make final selections
  • Complete background and status change forms on all personnel
  • Develop an orientation program for new employees to ensure a complete understanding of job responsibilities
  • Develop performance plans for all employees
  • Provide one on one feedback to employees regularly
  • Conduct market visits in the field with at least one direct report weekly
  • Provide clear direction and expectations for all tasks and requested information
  • Provide all pertinent information to the employee about the client’s products and industry specifics
  • Provide strong leadership skills to develop personnel and educate them on the importance of all administrative requests and execution activities
  • Effectively manage performance issues in a timely manner and within TEAM policies and procedures, acting with a sense of urgency

Client Relationship Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively work with key client and distributor personnel to ensure execution goals are achieved
  • Ensure TEAM Enterprises’ objectives for all direct reports clearly aligns with client objectives
  • Fulfill all client requests in a timely manner, including program recaps, results and budget updates
  • Meet with client to gather information to keep updated on product and industry knowledge
  • Request regular feedback from client on TEAM and field personnel execution to evolve program and exceed client expectations
  • Gather and report all pertinent competitive activity to TEAM management and client
  • Track performance and market trends in assigned markets, benchmark against competition, and provide feedback to client on a regular basis
  • Always sell TEAM’s value to the client and uncover additional opportunities for TEAM to serve the client
  • Conduct all program training for local client and distributor personnel

Field Execution Responsibilities:

  • Ensure field personnel recruit, hire, and train quality promotional staff who are educated on the client’s products and promotions
  • Ensure field personnel conduct regular training of promotional staff ensuring that they conduct promotions to client’s and TEAM’s standards
  • Ensure direct reports provide feedback to promotional staff after all promotions, providing both positive and constructive feedback for improving results
  • Ensure all field personnel have a pre-plan for calling on accounts and that they develop a monthly promotion plan schedule
  • Ride with personnel to ensure that they are developing strong relationships with key accounts
  • Identify opportunities to grow the business for field personnel and follow up on future visits to make certain all opportunities were secured

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate employee files with proper documentation of performance vs. job objectives
  • Develop a monthly work plan and communicate it to both management and direct reports
  • Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
  • Complete audits of field personnel workbooks to ensure no fraudulent activities take place
  • Transfer key learning’s and ideas from all markets to improve the overall results for the client
  • Manage all informational requests of field personnel and recap key takeaways for TEAM Management
  • Complete EM work with checklist and provide meaningful feedback to employees
  • Manage and review all program budgets on a monthly basis to ensure all expenditures are in alignment with client direction
  • Own the integrity of all reported information

WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD

  • College degree preferred
  • 4+ years of experience managing a team of full time employees
  • 4+ years of promotional marketing experience
  • Must be familiar with on and off-premise marketing initiatives
  • Prior promotion agency experience preferred
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Show strong problem solving and motivational skills
  • Quality computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to gather and analyze information and report key insights with recommendations for solutions
  • Must be based within Northeastern US geography
  • Willing to travel to assigned market areas on a regular basis (approximately 60-70% travel)
  • Has an infectious attitude and demonstrates strong work ethic
  • Upon first day of work employee must be residing in their assigned market area
