Job Description: We are currently seeking qualified and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidates will be dedicated professionals who are committed to providing high-quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs.

As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students in various settings, including resource rooms, inclusive classrooms, and self-contained environments. You will collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing students' strengths and needs to develop appropriate instructional strategies.
  • Differentiating instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
  • Providing direct instruction in small group and individual settings.
  • Implementing behavior management techniques and interventions as needed.
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional plans accordingly.
  • Communicating regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and goals.
  • Participating in team meetings, professional development activities, and other school-related functions.
