Exciting Opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) at Prince George's County Public Schools!

Are you a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a rewarding opportunity to work with infants and toddlers in an educational setting? Prince George's County Public Schools, located in Oxon Hill, MD, is currently accepting applications for two Speech-Language Pathologist positions for their Infant and Toddler Program. Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)

Hours:

  • 1 Full-Time Position (35 hours per week)
  • 1 Part-Time Opening

Position Details:

  • Caseload: You will work with infants and toddlers in the Infant and Toddler Program, ranging from birth to 4 years old.
  • Responsibilities: As part of the transition team, your role will primarily involve assisting with writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), developing Present Levels of Performance (PWNs), attending IEP and eligibility meetings, and discussing evaluation results. This role will be meeting-heavy, and there will be no testing as testing is pleted onsite.
  • Collaborative Environment: The ideal candidate must be a team player, flexible, and able to work effectively with others to support the needs of young learners.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Active Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills
