MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

SUMMARY:

Perform routine maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance to production systems, plant automation, and structures

FUNCTIONS:

  • Support the Company’s mission, vision, values, and goals in performance of daily activities.
  • Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, robotic, and welding problems.
  • Support production by responding to calls for mechanical, electrical, robotic, and welding issues.
  • Knowledge and experience using basic shop equipment and fabrication.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure the required preventive maintenance, routine & emergency repairs on facility equipment and plant structures are completed and meet required timelines. Facility and plant structures are considered to include but not limited to; fire sprinklers and reporting systems, cooling water systems, water treatment system, grounds keeping, floor repairs, heating-ventilation-and-cooling systems, painting, facilities restorations, pressure washing, lighting systems, security systems, camera systems, plumbing repairs, overhead doors, dock locks, roofing systems, etc.
  • Work directly with Facilities Project Planner to ensure that all repairs, planned PM’s, and work requests are completed in a satisfactory and efficient manner.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to promote efficient operations throughout the Bardstown Plant.
  • Maintain housekeeping at or above the expected guidelines.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree in Industrial maintenance or a related technical field preferred or High School diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years relevant maintenance experience. Will consider experience in lieu of education/degree.
  • Electrical knowledge of 120V/220V circuits.
  • Training through a Vocational/Technical School, State Certified/Union Apprenticeship completion preferred
  • Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) (MIG) process and maintenance on welding equipment
  • Fanuc robotics
  • Use of HMI’s / PanelView
  • Knowledge of LOTO and Arc Flash
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal direction
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
