Title: Director of Nursing – Registered Nurse RN
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Acute Care
Location: Great Bend, KS *Relocation bonus provided
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p; no weekends/holidays

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Nursing directs and facilitates the establishment and implementation of plans, operations, programs and growth of services in the department; establishes and works towards the accomplishment of short-term and long-range goals, objectives, and strategies; directs financial budgetary processes. Reports to CNO. Oversees 33 bed ER, Med/Surg, L&D, OR and Social Service units. Duties to include but not limited to:
-Provides positive leadership by an environment of teamwork, open communication and customer service
-Establishes and oversees compliance with regulatory and certifying agencies standards
-Responsible for human resources processes including interviewing and orientating staff, ongoing performance management and timekeeping/scheduling
-Assists with financial management by developing and maintaining budget
-Assists in developing policies, procedures and protocols to maintain standards of care and regulatory requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
-3 to 5 years of acute / hospital management experience
-Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
-BLS and ACLS required
-BSN required
