Olivia Quinlan from Robert Half is working with a local Rochester company who is in search of a Technical Trainer specializing in IT to support their IT team with the implementation of new software solutions. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the IT team is equipped with the knowledge and skills required to successfully integrate new software into their existing infrastructure.


Collaborate with the IT team to develop comprehensive training programs tailored to new software implementations.

Utilize project management expertise to plan, organize, and execute training initiatives effectively, ensuring smooth adoption and transition.

Provide hands-on guidance and support to IT professionals during the implementation process, addressing any technical challenges or questions that may arise.

Demonstrate basic IT skills to troubleshoot technical issues related to the new software and provide timely solutions.

Leverage Microsoft Office 365 experience to create training materials, presentations, and documentation specifically geared towards the IT team's needs.

Foster familiarity with cloud environments relevant to the new software, ensuring IT professionals understand integration processes and best practices for optimization.

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in training delivery, preferably within an IT or technology-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, particularly in creating training materials and documentation.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and their role in software integration and optimization.
