DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS
Location: Marietta, GA or Adairsville, GA
DIRECT HIRE POSITION
Salary: $125,000K-180,000/year, plus commission
The role of the Director of Strategic Key Accounts is to consistently achieve desired business results, positively influence Strategic Key Account customers to develop, and facilitate the continued growth of sales for the Company. Internally, the responsibilities include leading, motivating and training the Company's Strategic Key Accounts Project Team. Externally, as the relationship manager with Strategic Key Accounts, the responsibilities include communication, product presentation and management, sales agreement management, project management, claims, returns and pricing management.
Responsibilities:
- Grows sales and builds relationships with Strategic Key Account customers.
- Works closely with internal Company's sourcing, marketing, operations, customer service teams.
- Possesses flooring industry and product knowledge.
- Understands Company's internal/external procedures to meet Strategic Key Accounts’ needs.
- Understands the management hierarchy at Strategic Key Accounts.
- Possesses a full understanding of the Strategic Key Accounts’ requirements for project and product life cycle management.
- Sets the pace for accomplishing corporate goals and objectives through positive reinforcement, strategic thinking, and the development of KPI’s.
- Measures Strategic Key Accounts sales results.
- Communicates effectively at all levels to be an effective "coach."
- Possesses the capacity to assume significant executive responsibilities over time.
Requirements:
- Ten years of successful large customer sales experience
- Ten years of experience calling on large accounts or “big box” accounts
- Willing to work out of two offices
- Strategic Leader
- Strong presentation skills
- Time Management
- Teacher/Coach
- Proficient in excel and PowerPoint
- Travel 35% in USA
- Occasional international travel
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or relevant field
